End of Summer update

Thanks to all the girls who participated in both the summer league and the Thursday practices.  I hope both were worthwhile experiences and helped you stay in touch with softball and work on your skills.  As I told several of the girls last week, I can see a noticeable improvement in a number of things.  I hope to be able to expand on this program next year.

As I told the girls, last week was the last of our summer practices.  With school starting this week, I decided now would be a good time for a break.  The school has not yet made a decision on the coaching staff for 2013, but hopefully that will happen soon.  Look for further information in early September.

Thursday "Open" Practice

We will have voluntary "open" practices each Thursday night in Death Valley at 7:00 until school starts.  Please feel free to pass this information along to anyone from last year's team or who might be interested in playing next year.  Any questions, contact me via email mhorner@us.ibm.com
